If you are a **Data Analyst **and want to make a difference in your professional career, this is your role At Shalion we’ve built a modern data platform (with technologies like Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, Looker, Airbyte and Github actions) that is critical for the company revenue generation: we sell data to our customers who consume it either through our dashboards in Looker embedded or through an API.
**The role**
As a **Senior Data Analyst** at Shalion, your responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining impactful dashboards and visualizations in Looker, enhancing user experience and guiding analytical paths.
- Collaborating with Product teams to shape the product roadmap based on customer feedback and market insights.
- Translating business requirements into technical tasks, ensuring timely delivery.
- Working closely with Data Engineers to expand and enhance datasets, contributing to roadmap planning.
- Ensuring data quality and consistency across dashboards.
- Facilitating workshops for tailored business solutions and translating product questions into actionable insights.
**Your profile should include the following**:
- 3+ years of experience working as part of a data team; preferably as a data analyst or scientist.
- Hands-on and strong working knowledge of SQL
- High experience level with modern visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau or Qlik Sense.
- Solid statistical background.
- Experience working with Data Scientists and Engineers.
**Ideally you will also have**:
- An advanced degree in a quantitative field such as math, physics, computer science, statistics, etc.
- Experience with market research analysis
- Experience working with a modern data warehouse (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar).
- Basic knowledge of Git and command-line
- Prior experience modelling data in LookML and dbt (data build tool)
- Be fluent with one or more common data-related programming languages (Python or R)
- UX skills
