**Core Job Responsibilities**:
- Identify and managed gaps in network security.
- Work with Ryanair Infosec team to action tickets assigned to the Network team (Block IP addresses, critical vulnerabilities etc.)
- Ensure all network devices are patched, software is up to date etc. in order to protect the network from known/critical vulnerabilities.
- Review Firewall rules monthly to ensure no security gaps are present.
- Ensure DDOS Protection is in place for key External Resources
- Manage Deployment and Maintenance of CISCO ISE to provide WLAN and LAN security.
- Work with all Ryanair Network Vendors (F5, Checkpoint, Cisco, Palo Alto)

- Excellent networking skills (CCNA/CCNP/CISSP)
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer science-based qualification.
- 3-5 years’ experience in networks, LAN, WAN, Voice, Data and wireless technology in a complex corporate environment.
- 2 years’ experience working in aviation, with an excellent understanding of how networks get delivered to secure sites.
- Expert knowledge of key networking protocols: TCP, UDP, ICMP, SNMP, OSPF, BGP
- Network Monitoring tools such as PRTG and Wireshark
- Network design
- IP Addressing/sub-netting
- Checkpoint Firewall Management (specifically experience with Checkpoint Maestro solution)
- Cisco Routers and Switches
- F5 Big IP VPN
- Cisco ISE
- Experience with proxy solutions such as Cisco IronPort, Web Titan Cloud and Z-Scaler.
- Ability to thrive in a high pressure environment.
- Knowledge and experience of network security best practices
- Will to travel to sites in Europe to perform security related tasks (upgrades etc.)
- Full Driving License preferred
