Key responsibilities for this role include:
Operations-
- Coordinate tasks and drive actions across teams within Viatris and with external partners in a global environment._- Manage data collection efforts for periodic and ad hoc requests and provide analysis as needed._- Overall accountability for ensuring that all stakeholder expectations have been met for service delivery._
Analysis and Solution Definition:
- Performs project and enterprise business analysis or tasks collaboratively with the IT Partners and other Viatris IT teams._
- Tasks include problem definition, defining high-level business need/requirements, conducting capability gap assessment, identifying potential solutions, completing feasibility studies, determining solution scope and defining business cases including outcome metrics and measurement methods._- Define the requirements gathering approach and change management plan for complex projects._
- Partners with other Viatris IT teams to manage the agreed deliverables._- Translates high-level functional requirements into detailed technical requirements._
- Establishes the requirements baseline and traces requirements throughout the project lifecycle._- Working knowledge of the portfolio governance process (technology investment appraisal) will be an advantage._- Must have ability to create technical and training documentation as needed to support the global Viatris IT organization._
Project Execution:
- The Business Analyst will be flexible and open to assisting in delivery of project deadlines and schedules. The Business Analyst will also run small scale projects according to the demand in the market._
Testing and Audit:
- Assists or leads the effort in testing within Viatris IT projects._
- Develops use cases and test scripts that include effective test metrics._
- Ensures that issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner._
- Works with business representation to identify required changes._
Stakeholder Management:
- Establish relationships with clients and members of project teams and liaise between the business and technical members of the project team, ensuring that client needs are clearly understood._- Act as _
- an advocate for clients while simultaneously identifying areas (such as business processes), that need to be changed._- within the business for project success._
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
- Education:_
- Bachelor's degree_- Specializations:_
- Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Management_- Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, methodology development: 4 years_- Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning, organizing and managing resource: 4 years_- Significant experience in Information Technology or in the Pharmaceutical/life sciences industry: 2 years_
