Yoast is a company with 150 employees, with 50 working in product and engineering. You’ll be leading the teams and helping shape the product vision and direction and solve the technical, architectural and product challenges that come with a company with our size of user base.

Your job would be:
As a Digital Analyst at Yoast, you will be responsible for configuring, managing, and utilizing our various martech & analytics platforms. Your job will be to identify issues and opportunities in our data, support other teams with reporting & analysis requirements, and help us to make better and more informed business decisions. You’ll also be working closely with our marketing and BI teams to ensure that our data is accurate, accessible, and actionable.

We are searching for someone that:

- Develop digital campaign and web measurement strategies.
- Manage the configuration of Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and other martech tools (including HotJar, Helpscout, etc).
- Collect and analyze customer, marketing, and web behavioral data.
- Ensure that campaign tracking is configured and functional; work with the marketing team to ensure that ad tracking is correctly implemented.
- Create dashboards, data visualizations, and campaign and website performance reports.
- Support other departments with performance data.
- Understand statistical concepts.
- Cooperate with the BI team to merge data sets, track performance, perform cohort analysis, identify opportunities, and forecast future performance.
- Test campaigns, analyze key metrics, and identify opportunities to increase campaign performance.
- Develop and present learnings from your analyses, including actionable insights and recommendations.
- Monitor and analyze digital media and marketing trends (including privacy and compliance issues, such as GDPR and CCPA).
- Communicate and present to colleagues, senior managers, and clients.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

- A deep understanding of how martech systems work; including pixels, cookies, and URL parameters.
- Knowledge and understanding of digital marketing.
- Experience with Google Analytics (4), Looker Studio.
- Expertise with Excel / Google Sheets.
- The ability to strategize, problem-solve, think critically, and identify patterns.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into people-friendly terms.
- Experience with A/B testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications (or equivalent) is preferred, but not required.
