The main responsibility of the role is to drive change and integration across the local BI organization by initiating, transforming and managing projects to increase cost-efficiency and availability of information to enhance business steering.
The role will have accountability on assuring data is trusted of high quality and is fit for business purpose on multiple data transformation and integration projects.
**The role of the Data Quality Expert has the following responsibilities**:
- Work with Business Analyst, Test Engineer and Product Owner in an Agile Squad to establish accountability around the Completeness, Correctness and Timeliness of data for each project.
- Build data quality framework which will define data quality requirements for each project measuring data on a regular scheduled basis producing and monitoring data metrics.
- Analyze and mine business data in order to identify correlations and discover patterns from various data points. Map and trace the data from system to system for solving a given business problem.
- Create dashboards and reports to regularly communicate results and monitor key metrics.
**Requirements**:
- Background in data transformation projects from IT perspective, preferably Cloud environments.
- Database and SQL knowledge.
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Problem-solving aptitude and ability to deliver on tight timelines.
- Fluent in English.
