**About the role**:
Health and Safety technician role is to communicate and implement the site strategy for Health, Safety & Environment, according to Kerry standards. Continuous observations, internal audits, meetings with colleague and training about specific matters are all part of the daily work.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Making our site compliant to all relevant local legislation and regulations and ISO 14001 certification.
- Translating the company standards into practical solutions in the workplace.
- Fully investigate specific accidents and near misses as required and monitor follow up action. Investigate what can be done to ensure these cannot occur again, and implement required changes, always striving for continuous improvement.
- Ensure on-time reporting of company KPIs. Being accountable for EHS performance metrics and implementation of annual - strategic improvement plans.
- Leading the safety culture transformation on site.
- Coordination and execution of training and instruction measures.
- Conduct workplace risk/exposure assessments for various classes of hazards.
- Participate in internal / external audits.
- Implement emergency programs.
- Lead / support projects from HSE point of view assessing risks and ensuring legal / company compliance.
- Point of contact with the external H&S service (SPA)

**Qualifications and skills**:

- Bachelor’s Degree. HSE training: Superior Technician in H&S (three specialties)
- Minimum three years HSE experience in a manufacturing site.
- Experience in driving through a Health and Safety culture in a business.
- A strong influencer across the functions, excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations and concepts.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish and English, both written and spoken, with a variety of internal and external contacts.
