Production Manager

**What will be your misión as a Production Manager?**
- Drive the customer delivery performance to reach defined service targets.
- Ensure production costs & labor efficiency objectives outlined in the operating plan are achieved, etc.

**What will your responsibilities be as Production Manager?**

**Safety**:

- Ensure compliance to all Health & Safety policies & procedures.
- Identify safety risks within the facility & implement corrective actions.
- Member of Health & Safety Committee, etc

**Profit**:

- Manage and improve production, quality & efficiency outputs of all manufacturing functions.
- Ensure actual production costs are in line with budget targets.
- Maintain finished goods & WIP inventory levels according to budget objectives.
- Lead and support appropriate cost-down projects for all manufactured parts, etc.

**Production**:

- Direct responsibility for all production operations.
- Ensure manufacturing output is respecting all quality requirements as detailed by customer specification & technical validation and internal procedure
- Identify production bottlenecks & propose improvements actions to minimize impact on service & costs.
- Lead process deviation & non-conformance corrective actions. Support all customer 8D corrective action plans.*, etc.

**Process**:

- Ensure 5S principles are embedded in daily standard practices.
- Maintain operational disciplines & promote improved production standards. (must)
- Evaluation, development & implementation of processes to improve manufacturing performance.
- Ownership of production standard operating procedures in line with ISO9000 standards.
- Support weekly S&OP activities & provide required data to support all business decisions. Complete daily, weekly & monthly production performance análisis, etc.

**People**:

- Ensure all legal & ethical standards are known & respected by team members.
- Monitor staffing are aligned to current and future business objectives & daily production schedules, etc.

**Progress**:

- Daily update of shop-floor production display.
- Lead & participate in improvement projects according to business requirements, etc.

**Report to**:Operations Director

**What do you need for this position?**

**Required experience**:

- Minimum **5 years managing industrial production and leadership industrial environment **.
- Machine manufacture and/or metallurgical industry background.
- Experience in managing and leading industrial production, including machined parts, welding, painting and assembly areas and internal and external suppliers.
- Experience with Engineering Solutions will be considered a plus.
- Lean 6 sigma, Green Belt, Black Belt will be considered a plus.

**Education**:

- Engineering degree, preferable Production Engineering.

**Languages**:

- Proficiency in English
- Spanish is a must
- Catalan is recommended

**IT Knowledge**:

- Advance Microsoft office, specially Excel & Outlook.
- ERP basic knowledge
