**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

**In Global T&O, we are looking for the Data Architecture Lead to join our global team in Boadilla del Monte.**

**Santander One Transformation **aims to have a single and open Platform for the entire Santander group, based on:

- a shared technological underlying platform, with common standards and connectors, that will enable the easy addition of IT business solutions (Retail, Commercial, Cards, Global Units and Business, Payments,)
- a set of service components for the different layers of the Group's e2e business model (Channels, CRM, Processes, etc ) that can be easily integrated into the common platform and shared (reused) among entities, enabling the standardization of our service models and delivering synergies and added value to the entities and the Group as a whole.

In this dynamic landscape, we are actively constructing **the Group's Data Platform **while formulating an operational model that fosters a holistic perspective of data. Our strategic endeavour is centred around the development of an avant-garde Technological Platform that enables a seamless and integrated treatment of data across the entire group, guaranteeing swift, user-friendly, secure, and efficient accessibility. This platform will facilitate the entire data lifecycle, encompassing data generation, processing, and consumption, underpinned by a standardized technology stack across all entities. Leveraging high-level automation, it will elevate data delivery and consumption, while concurrently offering comprehensive global data product catalogues to optimize data utilization. Ultimately, our unwavering focus is to optimize the data consumption experience for our valued end users.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As **Data Architecture Lead, **you will report to the **Global Data Architect **and your responsibilities will be:

- Formulate a visionary approach towards data within T&O and the Group's Platform ecosystem, employing a comprehensive Data Architecture. Simultaneously, spearhead the implementation of these frameworks across various units within the Group, fostering close collaboration with the Global and local teams.
- Exemplifies leadership in the implementation of the defined Data Architecture as a blueprint across various units, providing guidance and support to geographical locations and units throughout their implementation journey and roadmap.
- Design and implement advanced technological solutions and data architectures, leveraging best practices and the latest technologies in the field of data management.
- Effortlessly conceive, advocate, and consistently enhance the Operational & Analytic Data platform, infused with a far-sighted vision, meticulous short and long-term roadmap, all while prioritizing the user experience.
- Champion the establishment and widespread adoption of shared assets within the Platform, skillfully balancing the diverse needs and requirements of each entity through a synergistic and deeply collaborative approach.
- Ensure that the Santander Group's technology platform facilitates and implements mechanisms to have a governed and quality Group Data Inventory, with secure access and availability of data as a product and in real time.
- Diligently oversee the seamless integration of governance and quality mechanisms into the Santander Group's technology platform, ensuring the establishment of a meticulously curated and secure Group Data Inventory. This entails guaranteeing secure access to data as a valuable product, with real-time availability, all while upholding the highest standards of data integrity and reliability.

**We need someone like you to**:

- Successfully provide strategic leadership and E2E implementation of the data architecture in the Group's global entities and businesses, within Santander One Transformation.
- Forge close partnerships with key stakeholders to effectively articulate the visionary outlook, strategic direction, and comprehensive roadmaps Data Architecture. These roadmaps will be meticulously aligned with the strategies outlined by the Global CTO and Santander initiatives, ensuring cohesive synchronization and collaboration across all levels of the organization.
- Exhibit strong leadership and drive in ensuring the coverage of key Data Architecture roles within T&O, such as Enterprise Data Architect and Technical Data Architect, while striving for exceptional performance in filling these roles across various units and geographical locations.
- Meticulously oversee the effective implementation of the aforementioned strategy within the Data Platform, fostering flawless congruity between strategic objectives and the functional capabilities of the platform.
