Swim Lab International is a state-of-the-art aquatic facility located in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote, The Canary Islands, Spain.

**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role for a Physiotherapist. The Physiotherapist will be responsible for conducting assessments and developing treatment plans for clients with a variety of conditions, injuries, and disabilities. The Physiotherapist will also be responsible for implementing treatment plans, monitoring progress, and adjusting the plan as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology (be familiar with a wide range of methods and modalities for delivering physical therapy to younger clients, setting goals, and measuring results)
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Problem solving skills - each client has their own set of needs and circumstances, so you should be able to effectively assess situations and devise solutions
- Fluency in English is essential (multiple languages is a plus)
- Experience in aquatic therapy and fitness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, parents, and other care providers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy or related field
- Licensure and registration with local governing body
- Experience with specialized equipment and technology is a plus

**Additional information**
- This role requires a high level of patience and compassion, while assisting clients struggling with a wide range of physical limitations
- While administering therapy you may need to lift, carry clients and support their weight, so physical strength and stamina are both necessary.
- Recording clients' progress and modifying the plan of care if needed
- Educating clients and family members about the recovery process
- Desire to travel - travel is a big part of our work and training will happen both in Europe and Jacksonville Florida, USA.
