**IDIBELL is looking for a Research Support Technician**

**About the research group and the role**

The person contracted will work in joint research projects by the Advanced Heart Failure and Heart Transplant Unit, within the Cardiology Department of the Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge led by Dr. González Costello, and the Renal Transplant Research Unit from the Institut d’Investigació de la Vall d’Hebron (VHIR), led by Dr. Oriol Bestard. This technician will work processing blood and/or tissue samples and studying immunological response (humoral and cellular) in patients with solid organ transplant.

**Job requirements**

Professional experience
- Not required

Education and training
- Mid grade laboratory technician (CFGM)

Technical skills
- Knowledge about purification of lymphocytes in peripheral blood. Knowledge on how to generate and manage data bases

Languages
- Basic command of the Catalan, Spanish, and English languages

**We will value, but not required**
- Experiencie on processing samples (especially isolation of peripheral blood mononuclear cells) and celular cultures
- Ability and knowledge on different immunological assays: ELISA, Flow cytometry, and PCR
- Ability to work in a team and achieve the set goals

IDIBELL is a research center that integrates the biomedical research of the Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB), the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), and the University of Barcelona in the Bellvitge Campus (UB), and the Viladecans Hospital (HV). The research focuses of IDIBELL are cancer, neuroscience, translational medicine and regenerative medicine.
