A **Tendering Engineer** in the Renewable Energy sector is a professional specialized in the meticulous preparation and management of bids. **Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in preparing bids or acting as a design engineer in the field of photovoltaics.
- BSc/BA in electrical engineering, construction or relevant field.
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of a second language will be an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills, communication skills - oral and written - and attention to detail are essential for this position
- Analytical, detail-oriented thinker with excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills to ensure efficient completion of multiple tasks and deadlines.
- In-depth understanding of bidding principles and processes.
- Proficient ability to read electrical schematics and use AutoCAD for design purposes.
- Practical knowledge of PV system is highly desirable.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs is required.
- Ability to prioritize, work under pressure and meet targets
- Knowledge of component suppliers will be an additional advantage

**Responsibilities**:

- Detailed analysis/review of technical documentation provided by the customer
- Prepare preliminary technical information and design; including PV layouts, SLD, PVSyst simulation
- Proposing initial design assumptions (including selection of installation components) necessary to define a bill of quantities for accurate cost calculations for projects
- Preparation of costs and price calculations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with bid requirements
- Preparation of commercial and technical proposals
- Analysis of the engineering documentation provided by the customer for optimization purposes
- Coordinate with various internal departments such as procurement, design, operations, contract, legal, and others to share/collect and review information essential for bid preparation
- Provide technical support for the Business Development team in discussions, clarifications, and negotiations with clients as necessary during the bidding process
- Participate in the Bid/No Bid process to validate opportunities
- Building strong relationships with suppliers/subcontractors and collecting offers in the bidding process
- Collect bid-related information and organize it to support the continuous improvement of the bidding process.
- Actively propose actions and participate in the continuous improvement process to optimize bidding strategies and outcomes.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: 5,000.00€ - 15,000.00€ per month
