Costing Intern

**Position Snapshot**:
**Requirements
- An internship agreement from your University or Business School
- Spanish nationality or NIE (identification number for foreigners) and NASS (Spanish Social Security affiliation number) is required
- Residence: temporary or permanent in Barcelona
- Fluent in English.

**Terms & Conditions:
- Scholarship 960€ per month
- Grant canteen

**Period of internship:
- 6 months internship starting in
**January / February 2023**
- Possibility of a 6 months extension
- Full time (Monday to Friday from 9 to 6pm)

**A day in the life of...**:
This position requires capacity and understanding the execution of certain tasks of product costing (mainly regarding master data checks) and transfer pricing for activities covered in the Service Catalogue for Western European Companies under scope of the Costing Center of Competence.
- Regarding TP, calculating all quotations and mass TP’s (for billing and outlook purposes)
- Regarding Product Costing, perform certain regular transactions in the system to monitor the quality of the data and advice the relevant parties in case an action has to be done. In general, second level support of factories under scope, supporting the costing specialist in the CCCoC on a daily basis, and replacement cost.

**Key activities**:
Transfer Prices activities
- Executing single TP quotations on a daily basis
- For mass revisions (OPL, Q0x or DFx):

- Responsible for the collection and integrity of all data or inputs required for mass TP calculation, contacting all necessary Units in the markets in scope:

- Tech. Controlling/Export Controlling: % IMS overheads, forecasted volumes.
- Factory Controllers: manufacturing costs, including Capacity Costing
- Purchasing/Procurement: raw / pack material prices as well as energy costs
- Supporting/executing massive calculation

Product Costing Activities
- Perform health checks, including Master Data (as described in the service catalogue) while identifying potential issues. Propose actions to be taken
- Support/Execute replacement costs (on demand of each market needs and according to TP revision’s needs)

Master Data Activities (workflows and std updates)
- Workflow updates in master data fields (accounting and costing views)
- Cost extension from factories to distribution Centres on a daily basis, identifying new materials recently costed in factories and annually, extending the future cost as well.
