**Job Description Summary**: As Credit and Collection Analyst you will be part of the Finance team and manage public and private clients in the Portuguese market.

**About the role**:
**As Credit and Collection Analyst** **you will** **be part of the Finance team and manage public and private clients in the Portuguese market.

**Main responsibilities will include**:

- Day to day customer contact, including chasing for customer payment as determined by work queue and keeping customer accounts within your portfolio accurate, clean and up to date
- Assistance for cash allocation
- Performance of month end closing activities
- Performance of reconciliations related to the job (e.g. customer accounts, aged items)
- Responding to possible queries and cooperating with customer care and business units to resolve them
- Making sure daily duties are in line with SOX requirements
- Keeping a good relationship with the customers

**About you**:

- Bachelor’s degree (desired in finance)
- Experience in similar position in the Portuguese market
- Advanced Portuguese language is a must
- English level upper intermediate
- Advanced knowledge on excel and analytic tools
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
- A hands-on and solution oriented mentality that results in a pro-active approach, growth mindset, teamwork, quick learning.
- Strong communication skills
- Change agent, demonstrated tendency to challenge the status quo and drive improvement in processes
