We are hiring for a Senior Technical Artist to join our growing team at Starbreeze. You will be supporting the development of multiple AAA projects by creating in engine tools and interactive game objects with Blueprints in Unreal Engine 5. As a Senior member of the team, you will also be responsible for working closely with less experienced colleagues, mentoring and guiding them whilst sharing your knowledge.

**Responsibilities**:

- Creating and maintaining interactive game objects using Blueprints;
- Creating in engine tools to facilitate production;
- Participate in technical choices and communicate with teammates;
- Working with materials/shaders using Unreal Material Editor;
- Maintaining documentation of technical assets and tools;
- Work closely with the team and mentoring junior talent, to ensure that quality is consistent and cohesive.

**Requirements**:

- Great experience and knowledge working with Blueprints in Unreal Engine;
- Experience with material scripting in Unreal Engine;
- Proven knowledge of asset creation, in-game materials, interactive/intelligent assets;
- Fluent in English with good communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

**Desirables**:

- Experience from working on 1+ released game;
- Understanding of real-time graphics with experience in creating realistic looking shaders;
- Knowledge of UMG widgets and pipeline;
- Knowledge of custom primitive data pipeline.
