**Education and qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Science
- Master's in Biomedicine, Biotechnology, Genetics, or any related Biomedical Science.
- Proficiency in English
**Desired**:
- Accreditation to use animals in research
- Fluency in Catalan and/or Spanish

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required**:
- At least 6 months of experience with molecular biology methods and R programming language
- Critical thinking: The ability to analyse and evaluate information critically, make connections between concepts and develop innovative solutions to research problems.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a research team and contribute effectively to group projects
***Desired**:
- Experience in cell culture and animal handling
- Experience in data processing
- Experience working in immunohistochemistry and biochemistry.
**Main responsibilities and duties**:
- Develop the doctoral thesis project and collaborate in other projects of the research group related to the thesis project.
- Design, perform and interpret in vitro and in vivo experiments.
- Present and defend the results obtained in national and international scientific meetings.
- Participation in the group's teaching activities
**Labour conditions**:
- Full-time position: 40h/week.
- Starting date: January 2025.
- Gross annual salary: 18.180,41€ (Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
