**Duties and Responsibilities**

**Operational Ownership**

As a Finance Trainee, I will work closely with the finance team to gain practical experience in financial operations within the hotel industry. This role is designed to provide hands-on training and exposure to various financial functions, including accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.

I will perform the following relevant tasks for this role:

Accounts Payable and Receivable**:

- Assist in processing invoices, verifying documentation, and ensuring timely payments.
- Support the collection process by following up on outstanding receivables.
- **Financial Reporting**:

- Contribute to the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends and variances.
- **Audit Support**:

- Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Participate in audit activities to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- **Financial Analysis**:

- Assist in conducting financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Provide insights into cost control measures and revenue enhancement opportunities.
- **Compliance**:

- Stay informed about financial regulations and compliance requirements in the hospitality industry.
- Assist in ensuring that financial processes adhere to relevant laws and Six Senses Ibiza standards and procedures.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant financial information and support their financial needs.
- **Training and Development**:

- Participate in training sessions to enhance financial knowledge and skills.
- Take the initiative to learn about industry-specific financial practices.

**Program length: minimum 5 months.**

**Skills and Experience**

To execute the position of Finance Trainee, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills.

Technical skills include MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems and LQA standards.

I am a personally involved, visible and proactive host with excellent organizational skills. I have an intuitive sense of product and service quality, a passion for excellence and an understanding of the sophisticated needs of the luxury customer and I have experience and I am able to work in a cross-cultural environment positively.

I have an excellent command of written and spoken English. Spanish is a plus.

I will maintain a thorough understanding of Six Senses in terms of guidelines, rules and regulations, brand and operating standards, facilities and services.
