Caterpillar has an exciting opportunity for a Machine Operator position at our Malaga Demonstration & Learning Center (MDLC) in Southern Spain. When you join the Team Caterpillar as a Machine Operator, you will perform engineering evaluations of various models of construction equipment or other product lines, utilizing advanced operating skills and safe work practices.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

- Perform operational evaluations of major equipment systems including but not limited to
- engine, transmission, final drive, hydraulics, electrical, etc.
- Reads Safe Job Procedures, Standard Test Procedures, and work orders for directions and
- safe operating practices
- Evaluate performance characteristics, serviceability, and safety aspects of all equipment
- Communicate through verbal and written reports with engineers, technical staff, visitors,
- customers and other employees
- Maintain field test sites, roadways, and drainage
- Train new operators in operation and safety
- Report near miss, incidents and accidents and provide analysis for
- prevention
- Become competent in machine guidance systems, payload or any other electronic systems within the machines
- present issues to the engineers from Product Group
- Document technical issues in power point
- Upload product status report with electronic technician or remotely

Required Qualifications:

- Ability to follow written and oral directions
- Possess basic computer data entry and word processing
- Safely and productively operate all lines of Heavy Construction Equipment
- Ability to interact in a positive and professional manner with internal and external customers
- problems, and the potential to deal successfully with new concepts and analytical requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with the technical staff, visitors and customers
- Ability to travel 25%
