**Purpose**

We are seeking a motivated and confident professional to drive and maximize sales of our education solutions for the ELL sector. The position requires optimal sales promotion of Pearson ELL capabilities, products and services across Catalunya, and the ability to integrate related Pearson products sold through the similar channels to the same institutional customer base. The role will encompass working closely with the Spanish Sales Team and providing specialist ELL support including in depth knowledge of all key courses. He or she will be responsible for developing and maintaining key ELL contacts and building relationships with the ELL education community. The position involves travel within the assigned territory to maximize ELL sales, and ensure optimum information flow between sales, marketing and content development.

**Key Accountabilities**:
This person is responsible for sales growth in all ELL institutions across the territory. Must recognize sales opportunities and possess ability to follow them through with the regional Sales teams and any relevant 3 rd party partners to close sales.
- Support new and existing customers to ensure potential for new and ongoing business.
- Regular reporting around sales activities, opportunities, forecasts and pipeline.
- Achieving maximum sales & market share growth of Pearson ELL Courseware and Assessment.
- Delivering annual targets.
- Demonstrate technology products and services.
- Facilitate customer-based product trials to maximise new sales potential.
- Grow share-of-wallet in key accounts.
- Seek out and engage with network groups, educational associations, and institutions.
- Being responsible for keeping your expenditures within budget limits.
- Supporting marketing activities throughout your region including various events, conferences and exhibitions as well as delivering presentations to customers on your own, both face-to-face and on-line.
- Being active in Social-Media by answering customers’ enquiries, sharing marketing posts, and recommending Pearson products, being involved in other Social Media Activities (e.g., live sessions, live chats).
- Bringing feedback from the field concerning Pearson products and services.
- Monitoring competition activities throughout your region.
- Updating the database regularly.
- Supporting sales with the provision of information/expertise relating to Pearson’s portfolio and capabilities.
- Contributing to overall perception of Pearson as a key player and partner of choice in the marketplace.
- Acquire a thorough knowledge and understanding of Pearson’s portfolio and key products, services, and capabilities.
- Updating general professional knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining and enhancing personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
