Our client is a specialist in advanced real-time graphics, offering high-quality, cutting-edge programming and consulting services.
They are expanding the Graphics team, and are looking for experienced graphics/rendering / GPU engineers - you can join them at the site in San Diego, or work fully remotely from anywhere in the world
**Responsibilities**
- Writes clear, maintainable, portable C/C++ code
- Understanding the entire graphics engine architecture, from game interface to graphics API interface
- Writing and maintaining custom shaders across a range of hardware
- Accurately estimate schedules and delivers high-quality work products to that schedule
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, and 3+ Years of professional experience
- Experience with modern rendering APIs - DirectX 12, Vulkan, Metal etc.
- Experience creating a rendering engine
- 2+ years of professional graphics programming experience
- Expertise in building multithreaded, real-time systems
- Experience writing systems balancing performance and maintainability
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability
**Bonus points**:
- Experience across multiple platforms or wide range of hardware capabilities
- Experience profiling and optimizing both CPU and GPU utilization
