**About Quantum Technologies**:
**What we are looking for**:

- Modeling the physical systems theoretically and numerically, including experimental and detection noise sources to serve as benchmark for hardware characterisation.
- Designing new quantum sensing methods and quantum memoria protocols bases on fundamental properties of atoms, solids and phtons.
- Contributing to the advance of the technologies and the establishment of new projects.
- Presenting the scientific results at national and international conferences.

**What we want from you***:
The applicant should have a background in Physics, Engineering, or another related field with experience in theoretical and numerical approaches to quantum sensing and communication protocols.

You profile:

- Ph.D in Physics/Engineering or equivalent 3+ year experience in a relevant environment.
- Expertise in AMO physics, light-matter interactions modeling (e.g., FDTD, BPM), designing of new sensing schemes or quantum memory protocols.
- Previous experience in Quantum Technologies, e.g. quantum optics, cold atoms, Rydberg atoms, laser spectroscopy, optically-detected magnetic resonance (ODMR), electromagnetically-induced transparency (EIT), quantum memories, quantum metrology, quantum error correction, etc.
- Open to work closely with the quantum hardware engineers, signal processing engineers and artificial intelligence specialists.

Other skills to be considered:

- High commitment and work autonomy.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and spoken English level.

**Salary**: From 27.000€SBA + 10% variable depending on your knowledge, experience and desire
