**Job Description Summary**: The Project Sourcing Leader (PSL) responds to Project Sourcing Manager. She/he represents and coordinates all Sourcing activities during the whole ECO process (from Collab to First Piece Qualification or PAPP) regarding his/her own scope of work. Moreover, she/he will be in charge of leading part of the Digitalization initiatives and coordinating some of the Localization initiatives within Direct Material Sourcing organization.

The Project Sourcing Leader (PSL) is accountable to deliver as safety, quality, cost and delivery targets at the end of the project/ECO process.

**Essential Responsibilities**

The PSL will have to implement actions such as:

- Coordinate all Sourcing activities during the entire ECO process up to First Piece Qualification (or PAPP) for the given scope of work
- Propose and lead digitization initiatives regarding our purchasing processes
- Coordinate and support the progress of our localizations strategy in one or more regions or in one or more countries
- Achieve supplier SQCD targets and execute Sourcing actions in each project or ECO
- Estimate and validate material and tooling costs for each project or ECO
- Align product and commodity technology roadmap for the best commodity and specification of the Bill Of Material (BOM) components
- Deploy Commodity sourcing strategy for project/ECO components including make or buy requirements
- Organize and fully comply with Pre-Sourcing, Supplier Offer Review, Sourcing Committees
- Execute and analyze with cost models Requests for Quotation addressed to suppliers (RFQ), lead supplier negotiation with involvement of Global Commodity Leader(s)
- Agree with Global Commodity Leaders (GCL) team short term benefits within supplier nomination
- Perform total cost (TCO: Total Cost of Ownership) analysis, preparing basis for decision during the project execution phase
- Prepare and negotiate supplier contracts together with GCL
- Support Terms & Conditions (or Long Term Supply Agreement or Frame Agreement) negotiations and any particular clauses
- Schedule and coordinate the prototyping of tools and components samples
- Generate, implement and track of Cost Out ideas
- Ensure successful ECO closure on time and proper PAPP or FPQ delivery
- Measure, track and communicate suppliers QCD KPI’s in ECO/project process with immediate escalation in case of deviations
- Measure, monitor and report progress of ECO process as per S&OP needs
- Handover project/ECO to GCL for serial production and support until FPQ (and PLQ: pre serial production) gate review
- Negotiate Supplier tooling agreement for new ECO/project
- Drive QR6S approach in project/ECO regarding supplier’s issues
- Ensure usage of lessons learned in all project phases
- Fully comply with GE rules and policies
- Support co-design, standardization and rationalization initiatives

**Qualifications / Requirements**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s (preferred option) degree in engineering, purchasing or business administration or equivalent knowledges and experiences
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing in the automotive industry
- Automotive sourcing experience is considered as a plus
- Work mainly in English, in a global environment and matrix organization
- High negotiation skills in a complex environment
- Good communication & influencing skills
- Experiences in supplier selection & development
- Six Sigma certification is an asset
- Experience in team management is an asset
