**Job Purpose**
We are looking for **Financial Analyst - Accountant Portugal **for Bridgestone SW Region. This position is located in our Madrid offices (San Sebastián de los Reyes).
**Key Responsibilities**
**Reporting**:
- In charge of autonomously carrying out records or accounting transactions necessary for the monthly or annual closing.
- Monthly reconciliation of justification of the company's liability accounts.
- Able to lead communication with local administration for local surveys or legal reports.
- Ensure the correct delivery of the financial statements of the group for the region in the calendar set by the group
- Collaboration with the shared services center (SSC) for the closing of the different cycles, mainly GL, AP and AR
- Calculation and realization of intercompany re-invoicing for services to other group companies.
- Responsible for all Accounting and Tax declaration
- Preparing or supporting annual accounts in local.
- Support the annual audit review from external auditors appointed by the Group
- Perform all related activities support to finance department, such as (bank guarantees, expense report check, mobile expense admin, Signus and Bank of Spain declaration )
**Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting**:
- Support the necessary actors on the financial planning processes in the business unit.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of budget monitoring systems. o Upload all necessary data into the group systems to support the region and group consolidation.

**Process and continuous Improvement**:
- Drives for continuous improvement in the accounting and forecast process methodology, seeks opportunities to drive sustainable improvements.
- Analysis and implementation of strong internal control regulations of the company
- Ensure evolution of the internal accounting process to secure compliance and production of the accounts according to the group and local requirements.
**Required capabilities**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and a professional additional qualification preferred Professional experience:
- +3 years of experiences in Financial Analysis and accounting.
- Portuguese: fluent (Main territory), English: fluent (Group language) and other European languages can be considered as a plus
- Proficient excel user
- SAP: advanced level
