**Learning Associate**:
Learning is a critical success factor and is part of the quality management system in Boehringer Ingelheim. The Learning Management System (LMS) is the unique, centralized, electronic tool used to assign, record, track and monitor learning activities for Boehringer Ingelheim Globally.

This position provides consistent global, regional and local business support throught:

- Managing and supervising global, regional and local assignment process through the standard LMS
- Providing support to Subject Matter experts, to create and update training content to meet internal HPBU training needs.
- Supporting one or more business functions and R/OPUs
- Providing technical expertise (system business troubleshooting, advice and assistance to Learners, Curriculum Owners, Line Managers, etc.)
- Promoting best practices in the utilization of LMS and in the training content creation and consulting on LMS platform usage
- Close cooperation with the SOP and Learning groups inside and outside of HPBU

**Tasks and responsibilities**:

- Manage global, regional and local assignment process for HPBU and R/OPU(s).
- Support HPBU regarding LMS demands (e.g. creation/maintenance of items, curricula and eLearnings, use of scheduled offerings, ).
- Manage vendor interaction.
- Responsible for the develop/maintenance of LMS business processes related to the outsourced model.
- Support training owner with the training item creation in LOS and accurate assignment to learners,coordinating this process with the LMS-A and ensuring that content is available in DAM for sharing across Boehringer Ingelheim.
- LMS continual improvement. Support efforts for effective and efficient system use. Act as Technical and Business Expert in the use of LMS.
- Support of regulatory authority inspections and audits (preparation, conduct and follow up activities - as applicable).
- Contribute to Global LMS SOPs and define global standards and business practices for the usage of LMS, as needed.

**Requirements
***:

- Bachelor/Master's Degre Teaching, Education Pedagogic, Business Administration or Human Resources.
- At least 3 years of experience in project management.
- Knowledge and experience in maintenance of a Learning Management Systems and its business processes.
- Knowledge and expertise in regulatory requirements (incl. FDA, EMA,...) related to the assigned QM processes(e.g. learning/training,...).
- Must be able to make decisions using a global, harmonized approach. Must be familiar with organizational structure worldwide.
- Interpersonal, intercultural and communicational skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Excellent IT skills, including but not limited to MS Office.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Reliability and accuracy.
- Innovation and competitive mindset.
- AAI.
- Fluent language skills in English (written and spoken), additional skills in Japanese would be a plus.
