**The Opportunity we have**

We are looking for a **Commodity Manager **to join Airbus in our Getafe office. You will develop your negotiation and management skills, define and implement purchasing strategy and be a key actor in performance and relationship with our suppliers.

This role will involve some frequent travel, predominantly in Europe, for business. As such, you must be able to travel accordingly.

- Equipment and Systems background and Previous negotiation experience is highly valued

**The role**

As Commodity Manager, you will be responsible for development and implementation of commodity strategies in order to ensure short and long term competitiveness, and ensure consistency on all Procurement actions for the commodity.

**How will you contribute?**
**You will**:

- Be accountable for leading the Multi Functional Team (MFT);
- Be the entry point to company for commodity management (per commodity products/services);
- Establish, implement and improve commodity strategy;
- Implement the Procurement policy;
- Perform market analysis (global sourcing including offsets);
- Manage sourcing (CFT, RFP, Supplier Selection) and contract management ;
- Contribute in monitoring & improving supplier performance;
- Identify & lead value creation projects and support product/service innovation;
- Sustain long term relationships with suppliers;
- Ensure risk management.
