Acerca del puesto de trabajo

Key responsibility will be to organize, control and manage the Port of Alumina Española in coordination with the port authorities and the various administrative. Activities:

- To carry out, authorize and control maritime operations and port services in order to ensure their efficient, safe, economical and productive development.
- Order the port service area, plan and schedule its development.
- Control of beacons and maritime signs in accordance with the law and the administrative concession governing us.
- To draw up police regulations, emergency plans, safety plans and the various regulations necessaries for the proper functioning of the port.
- Draw up the rates to be applied for the different services provided.
- Control all ships carrying dangerous goods in accordance with current legislation.
- To coordinate business activities with the various administrative institutions involved in port activities.
- Collaborate with other ports on security and development.
- To manage and control the different port services: pilotage, moorings, dockers, tugs, etc.
- To promote staff training and develop studies related to port activity.
- To monitor the safety and protection of the environment.
- Control fire-fighting and anti-pollution systems.
- To plan and control operations, performance according to the characteristics of the vessel, class of goods, means to be employed, possibility of extraordinary work, etc.
- Regulate the docking order of ships, designate the docks where they must dock and operate, designate their anchorage, etc.
- Reduce delays in the commencement of operations, losses in usage fees, etc.
- Control of damage caused to ships or by ships: assess, repair.
- Issuance of enforcement proceedings, seizure of vessels, etc.
- Assess accident prevention is as important as production, quality and costs, taking responsibility for safe work and promoting safety awareness among other employees. Comply with the Regulations and the EHS Management System.
