What we are looking for

SATLANTIS is looking for **Mission, Operations & Systems Engineer** profiles for 1) the design, analysis, and bring-into-operations of Earth Observation satellite missions; 2) the design and analysis of satellite subsystems; 3) the operation (monitorization and control) of satellites in orbit.

**MISSION**:

- Mission requirements analysis
- Mission concept and architecture definition
- Evaluation of alternatives for each of the mission segments
- Mission analysis studies and trade-offs to define suitable orbit and constellation configuration
- Development of mission analysis tools
- Communication with mission partners
- Management of the roadmap for the mission implementation, considering technical and programmatic aspects

**OPERATIONS**:

- Design and definition of satellite operations for specific missions
- Satellite monitoring and control through the use of a Mission Control Software
- Design and optimization of a Mission Control Software
- Development of algorithms and simulation tools
- Management of necessary HW/SW tests and report
- Technical documentation and test reporting.

**SYSTEMS**:

- Mission requirements analysis
- Satellite system requirements definition
- Satellite system design
- Supervision of the satellite development and simulation/test results
- Analysis of satellite performance and system budgets (mass, power, pointing, comm linketc. budgets)

Skills and experience
- A deep passion for technology, hardware development, and space missions.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience. Complementarily, degrees in Mechanical, Electrical, Telecommunication, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience would be an asset.
- Problem-solving approach
- _Team spirit, versatility, and creativity_
- _English negotiation level_
- _Minimum knowledge of Python_

Preferred
- Experience using STK software or similar
- Experience using Mission Analysis software
- Experience designing/analysing/implementing space missions and/or projects; those related to earth observation will be favoured.
- Advanced level and experience developing software in Python
- Experience developing algorithms for satellite/mission analysis
- Knowledge/experience with data-science techniques.
- Knowledge/Experience in orbital mechanics
- Knowledge/Experience in spacecraft dynamics
- Knowledge/Experience in spacecraft design
- Experience in satellite operations
- Spanish negotiation level
