**Position overview**:
The HR Generalist is responsible for delivering on-site HR service in support of people strategy, building people management capability within stakeholder groups, and driving consistency and efficiency in operational delivery. You will work with the plant management team to develop the local HR strategy and deploy the global/regional one, and support various HR-related activities.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Being the ambassador of Ball’s culture, driving the right behaviours amongst all plant employees.
- Implementing new regional/global HR policies and harmonizing them with the current ones.
- Advising and coaching leaders to diagnose, design, and plan interventions that facilitate organizational changes.
- Planning the plant budget, that includes payroll, overtime, training and etc.
- Assisting the plant leadership team with communicating organisational changes and supporting local Audits.
- Engaging the Talent Acquisition team to advise on and support the recruitment process.
- Managing local work councils unions and collective day to day in cooperation with legal entity HR Manager.
- Responding to routine inquiries regarding organizational effectiveness processes (e.g. performance development, change management, employee engagement pride, mentoring etc.)
- Assessing talent risk for the site and determines strategies to develop plant succession plans.
- Partnering with hiring managers to define and maintain a new employee onboarding program.
- General HR administration.
- Ad-hoc project work for the central HR team as required.

**Experience required**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human resources or related field or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication skills across all organisational levels and customer service mindset
- Previous experience in HR Generalist role at least 3 years.
- Project management skills and/or experience.
- Confident in Microsoft Office and experience using SAP SuccessFactors or equivalent HR database.
- Experience working within international manufacturing/consumer goods/industrial environments
- Confident knowledge of employment legislation.
- Analytical skills and ability to drive outcomes.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
