**Job Description Summary**: This Offshore Wind Loads Systems Simulation Engineer role is responsible for wind turbine aero elastic simulations, encompassing New Product Development and Fleet Support. The System Simulations Engineer will perform state-of-the art simulation, in accordance to Design Practiced and IEC guidelines. This person will be responsible for loads execution and for loads tools development.

L’Ingénieur(e) Simulation systèmes Offshore Wind est chargé(e) de réaliser les simulations aéroélastiques sur les éoliennes et apporte son soutien aux équipes de développement de nouveaux produits et de support de la flotte. Il/Elle produira des simulations sophistiquées, conformément aux directives CEI et aux bonnes pratiques de conception. Il/Elle sera également responsable de l'exécution des charges et du développement des outils.

**Essential Responsibilities**
- Execute mechanical loads analyses and power curve assessments for new products, cost out, design updates, and fleet support
- Deliver best-in-class loads mitigation and performance optimization technologies to lower Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE)
- Identify and deliver on ideas for process simplification and tools automation
- Contribute to the development of aeroelastic loads tools
- Cultivate an atmosphere of team building and learning, driving new methods/ideas for loads and performance improvements
- Effectively communicate to external customers & regulators and cross-functionally to sales, product line, and other GE businesses

- Cultiver une atmosphère d’esprit d’équipe et d’apprentissage, en développant de nouvelles méthodes/idées tournées vers l’amélioration des charges et de la performance
- Communiquer efficacement avec les clients et les organismes de réglementation extérieurs et favoriser les collaborations interservices avec les ventes, les gammes de produits et les autres activités GE

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Experience in aeroelastic loads simulations.
- Knowledge of best practices and how System Simulations integrates with other technical areas.
- ** Knowledge and prove experience in tools development, specially for aeroelastic simulations, at and industrial leve**l.
- At Least 3 years wind experience.
- Expérience dans les simulations de charges aéroélastiques
- Connaissance des bonnes pratiques et de l’articulation de la simulation de systèmes avec les autres domaines techniques
- Au moins 3 ans d’expérience professionnelle dans le domaine de l’éolien

**Desired Characteristics**
- Master degree from an accredited university in Mechanical engineering, civil engineering or aerospace engineering
- Proven ability to work in a cross-functional and global environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of aero-elastic simulation platforms: Bladed, HAWC2
- Experience in wind turbine control technologies, operability & validation
- Expert knowledge on wind turbine component design criteria
- BAC+5 en génie mécanique, civil ou aérospatial dans une université agréée
- Capacité reconnue à travailler au sein d'une équipe internationale et interfonctionnelle
- Excellentes compétences de communication tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit
- Connaissance pratique des plateformes de simulation aéroélastique : Bladed, HAWC2
- Expérience en matière de technologies de contrôle, d’exploitabilité et de validation des éoliennes
- Parfaite maîtrise des critères de conception des composants des éoliennes
