Location: EU (Remote) This role can work remotely

You will help execute on our Awaken Bioevolution sustainability journey with particular focus on feedstock and technology scouting. On this position, you will be part of the global Process R&D group, getting the opportunity to collaborate with a cross-functional team including R&D, Legal, Global Procurement, Supply Chain and Operations, to ensure successful deployment of the assigned projects.

Specific role and responsibilities
- Active scout of sustainable feedstocks and raw materials markets and monitor upcoming trends.
- Scout existing and emerging technologies and assess their readiness level development from relevant industries and academic sources.
- Build and maintain process and technologies mapping dashboards identifying all relevant key players, development level, products, business model etc.
- Prepare and manage potential supplier’s profile reports covering technology assessments and market insights for internal stakeholders.
- Analyze market and technology data and make recommendations to global procurement based on findings

**Job Requirements**:

- Your Degree in Science or Engineering (Chemistry, Biology, Food, Pharma)
- We will rely on your fluency in English
- Strong competence in performing intellectual property and technical due diligence
- We will rely on your experience with conducting research and assessing trends in technology or science, including capturing information on patent activity, published articles, market information, or conference proceedings
- Participation in Sustainability Projects, Consortia management and proven experience in chemical process manufacturing and/or R&D is a plus
- excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills with ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and international team
- critical thinking, keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills
