**The Job**
We are currently recruiting in JTB Spain for a Project Manager M&E with previous experience within the MICE industry to join our passionate team. This position will be based in Madrid or Barcelona. Japan destination knowledge and Japanese speaking & writing are big advantages.
- A passion for their job and the fast-paced event industry

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiasm in delivering outstanding result
- The ability to prioritize and multi-task in a complex environment
- The ability to run a number of different events in parallel and manage a wide range of third parties
**Responsibilities include**
- Create, plan and deliver large-scale events for a variety of foreign clients across the year
- Proposal creation and pitch, when required
- Full logistics including accommodation bookings and all land arrangements throughout full domestic territory
- Supplier management prior, during and after the event
- Negotiating with third parties to maximize value creation
- Client and account management to ensure repeat business
- Onsite management of the event
- Budget management and post event reconciliation
- Reporting to various stakeholders
**Essential requirements**:
- Previous experience/working knowledge in the MICE industry for at least 3 years
- Fluent in Spanish, English and Japanese. Written and verbal language skills are essential
- Deep knowledge of the territory and what it can offer in terms of MICE services
