**The Role**

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Site Supervisor with experience in rotating machines to supervise on our various customer sites in the UK, overseas and offshore.

In detail the role includes:

- Assist the team in daily activities: either on site install, disassembly, overhauls, maintenance and removals of large motors and generators
- Overall management of the site team (Quartzelec and subcontractors) This includes activities such as:

- RAMS are briefed to all relevant personnel (Quartzelec /subcontractors & client)
- Manage the site team hours and shift patterns
- Allocate tasks to the site team in line with the project plan
- Weekly Time Sheets for the team
- Daily Logs
- Work with the Project Manager to produce a realistic project plan that captures the resource requirements and predicted durations
- brief daily/weekly progress targets and communicate with client representatives on site
- ensure projects run to planned durations

**Who we want**
- A forward thinker, open minded, safety conscious individual who is a clear and assertive communicator, efficient in planning and executing work
- To be qualified to HNC level with relevant “in-field” experience either as a Fitter or a Winder with knowledge of medium and large electrical rotating machines (High Voltage), AC & DC motors and generators
- Demonstrable experience completing risk assessments, electrical safety awareness, inspection, and measuring
- Full driving license and passport essential
- EU passport holder desirable
