**What does this internship consists in?**

Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed **an exclusive program (DISCOVER) **designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.

You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to **DISCOVER **the skills most in demand today. It will be combined **with an 11 month internship at Airbus **in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.

The start of the internship will be in early March 2023, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.

The internship will be done in the Chief Engineer office of the A400M Program, in the MAP and Flight Test Management area. MAP is a team composed of high skilled design engineers with proximity to the final product, in this case A400M.

The A400M Chief Engineer is responsible for the aircraft optimum design, engineering development, certification and continued airworthiness, including compliance with airworthiness, environmental protection and operational suitability requirements.

The MAP and FT management area focus on all engineering activities in FT Centre, Final Assembly Line and Delivery Centre: steering development A/C configuration, maintaining airworthy configuration of A/C under DOA, managing Working Parties for FT campaigns preparation and steering and controlling A400M Flight Test campaigns.

This work will bring the applicant a good insight of the current challenges on the development of new capabilities for a flying platform.

There will be two areas of work for the applicant
- Redefinition of processes and workstreams to improve the efficiency of engineering and development.
- Deepen the digital transformation of the MAP and FT way of working. The applicant will be responsible to define the transformation project, compile the activities, schedule, steer the activities and to build and efficient communication campaign.

The activity will be part of a broader transformation project in the Chief Engineer office, and will require interfacing with other areas and centers of competences.

**REQUIRED SKILLS**:

- Degree in Engineering in Aerospace, Telecommunications or equivalent.
- Advanced level of English.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Project management and Agile skills.
