The Supply Chain team are responsible to bringing billions of life-saving medical devices and diagnostics tests, high-tech instruments and equipment to customers and patients all over the world. Our aim is deliver these products at an affordable cost and of the highest quality.
**About the role**:
The Factory Planning Project Leader plays a key role in Medical segment end-to-end supply chain planning process integration in SAP APO.
You are leading projects with Medical segment factories to integrate factory MPS (Master Production Schedule), detailed scheduling and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) into SAP APO enabling end-to-end supply chain planning in the system. Thanks to your strong supply chain planning and SAP APO expertise, you design a planning solution that meets the factories requirements while improving the standardization of the process. You drive change management to secure the adoption and consistent use of the planning system by the users.
The role requires up to 30% of travel globally.
**Main responsibilities will include**:
- Lead SAP APO deployment projects in several factories of BD Medical Segment
- Manage the relationship with project stakeholders (plant manager, plant supply chain manager, global supply chain planning director) to secure engagement and project resources
- Schedule and coordinate the different phases of the project
- Map the as-is planning process and perform a gap analysis with standard solution
- Design the target planning solution in SAP APO with a continuous improvement mindset
- Train the super users and oversee the User Acceptance Tests
- Support users during hyper care and super users during run
- Collaborate with downstream planning expert to ensure proper integration of downstream and upstream supply chain
- Support continuous improvement projects after factory deployment to further enhance the planning solution (analytics, transactional process automation, master data management, shorter planning cycles)
**About you**:
- Master degree in IT, Engineering or Supply chain
- 5+ years' experience in similar positions
- Experience in APS (advanced planning systems) deployment
- APICS certification preferred
- Good knowledge of factory planning processes (MPS, MRP), data (BOM, routings) and KPIs
- Strong SAP APO (SNP, PPDS) background
- Advanced skills in analytical tools and languages (Power BI, SQL)
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Fluent English
