**About the client**:
Our client ist a Spanish multinational company, devoted to the research, development, production of systems and parts for the automotive industry.
**Job description**:
Your mission is to ensure the quality, timing, and cost-effectiveness of all toolings to be integrated into the company's plants. You will be responsible for establishing and implementing the necessary systems and procedures to guarantee the achievement of these objectives.
**General functions**:
- Procedures, formats, tools and data bases improvement coordination of ICPT ranking format, tooling’s data base, QSTD, mold audit format.
- Define training documents and ensure implementation in all regions.
- Define supplier panel strategy. Manage the global toolmakers in order to profit synergies ww.
- Audit A suppliers, who will be used as Partner for Design Development (PDD).
- And support the production plants with the development of new global toolmakers.
- Lead Technical Forums for best practices transversalization.
- Global related plant targets follow up (kPIs).
- Report plant kPIs to Corp Injection Manager.
- Implement Corporate Strategic lines related with the area.
- Assist to select Front Loads in order to ensure that the launching of at least critical parts follows the official procedure (election of critical parts, election of an audited PDD & feasible project timing).
- Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
- Lead the team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation, fostering Ficosa's values.
- Provide the team with the necessary means to comply with OHSE rules, ensuring they are properly used.
- Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.
**Requirements**:
- **Experience**:5 years as a tooling technician or/and 2 years as a regional tooling manager.
- **Education**:Technical Engineering degree
- **Languages**:Fluent in Catalan and Spanish & Fluent in English (written & spoken).
- **Competences**:precision and efficiency are critical, 3D drawing software, tooling knowledge and practice
