We are currently looking for a **Development Quality Engineer** in our La Roca del Vallès location for a permanent contract.

**Position Overview**

Hager in La Roca del Vallès is seeking a dedicated and experienced Development Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team.

This role is integral to ensuring the highest standards of quality in development projects phase, but also in their serial life phase.

**Your missions**

Your main mission will be to ensure that the quality objectives are met for your product family to contribute to customer satisfaction by providing safe, compliant and robust products, meeting the requirements of the standards, the regulations, but also our internal requirements.

In the project phase, the main objective of your missions is to guarantee the management of the quality in the new development projects:

- Contribute to our customer's satisfaction by defining the product and manufacturing process quality standard within new product and system development / evolution frame.
- Coordinate all the stakeholders and actions to guarantee the systems’ consistency
- Lead, in collaboration with the project managers, the maturity assessment audits of the deliverables of the various project milestones
- Lead the risk analysis and perform the action plans to reduce the risks
- Define with the project team, the certification plans and the product and process qualification (internal and external) and analyses their results for the release of products and systems
- Be responsible for our internal processes and standards’ evolution linked to the product portfolio, by managing capitalization and standardization actions

In serial life phase, the main objective of your missions is to guarantee the quality of the products and systems on the markets, and to manage the improvement of their robustness:

- Analyze the quality KPIs, anticipate the improvement action plans and monitor them
- Manage the actions linked to quality issues requiring product analysis and expertise, risk assessments, and follow-up of action plans to return to standards.
- Support Manufacturing for continuous improvement regarding the products and processes
- Manage feedbacks through our standardization and capitalization process.

**Your profile**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of quality methodologies and tools (like APQP, FMEA, CP, FTA, DFSS).
- Experience with statistical analysis and process improvement techniques.
- Familiarity with ISO9001 quality standards and other Auditor skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities (8D methodology).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English.
