**Your mission**

Working closely with Engineering and Operations teams, you will participate in the decision making process for defining the future of the company, sharing your bleeding edge ideas, and driving the projects to the next level, ensuring that the requirements meets the expectations and adding value to the process.

You will be leading one of our highly-skilled DevOps teams across different locations with the mission to create new and awesome tools that will reduce the bottlenecks in the development teams around the company, allowing them to do things in an faster and safer way, plus standardising processes to ensure all the teams are aligned.

**What you'll do**
- Drive a team of talented engineers, ensuring they meet and exceed company expectations, and providing them with guidance, mentoring, coaching and leadership.
- Plan and organise team's work, making sure deadlines agreed with the different teams are met and ensuring the projects and OKRs for the team are accomplished.
- Represent our team when required, providing advice and knowledge for planning critical changes, migrations, etc, and ensuring resources are granted when needed.
- Support engineering teams helping them to become high performance autonomous teams. This applies to DevOps culture, processes, principles and behaviours.
- Lead a team through the empower process that becomes from the automation and the knowledge
- Coordination during incidents and migrations.

**What you'll bring**
- Experience leading teams and coaching them to ensure all team members meet their highest potential.
- Able to adapt to a highly changing environment.
- Demonstrated experience on DevOps culture and methodologies. Experience teaching others and talking in public will be highly considered
- Understanding how systems work at a whole picture level, being able to explain and support technical decisions representing engineering team with stakeholders and non-technical people
- Experience working with Kubernetes on high load systems. Familiar with extra features such as Service Mesh, OpenPolicy agents, observability tooling and provisioning systems, such as Ansible or Terraform.
- Knowledge in Public and Private clouds: Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, OpenStack, VMWare.
- A strong and deep level of understanding of Continuous Integration and Deployment concepts and tools.
- Understanding of database technologies, relational and NoSQL, wide range of technologies: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, MongoDB...
- Equipped with basic programming know-how - including an understanding of code and coding concepts - plus advanced knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby...)
- Flexible enough to meet tight deadlines and driven to deliver to strict SLAs
