IT Data Steward Senior Consultant Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:
Roles & Responsibilities
- Involved from the start to monitor the lifecycle of the data and ensure the data satisfies any standards or guidelines.
- Track the data from its inception and any continuation of the data flow to downstream consumers.
- Developing standards for data streams and other more complex because the task requires a high-level view of the data.
- Play a crucial role in developing and maintaining any standards or guidelines an organization requires.
- Strive to ensure the data produced by source systems is as valid as possible, so downstream decisions are more accurate.
- Be in close harmony with the groups physically handling the technical security aspects.
- Works closely with any system of record to ensure proper controls are in place and are maintained to ensure the data produced is of high quality
- Translate regulatory rules into data polices, rules, and standards
- Help develop data domain business rules (algorithms, calculations, processing requirements, etc.)
- Define / describe business data elements
- Promote the use of accepted data definitions, common reference data and sound data usage practices
- Guide and advise others on meaning and use of data
- Provide project management throughout from business needs assessment to delivery of industrialized product, correctly managing the demand.
- Analyze technical project requirements estimate and collaborate on the definition of the new use cases from Parques Reunidos.
- Involved with internal teams to design, develop and implement technical projects.
- Being accountable for the quality of the technical deliveries and conducting and managing the quality assurance of the outputs produced by the team.
- Prepare supporting documentation, including specifications and requirements
- Collaborate on data team/committee raising possible risks in the correct execution of the projects, and new requirements.
- Effective interlocution with internal/external suppliers for the development of new projects
- Effectively communicate understanding of the parks, reporting requests and business needs to proactively research solutions and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Providing technical leadership and support to other team members through organized training sessions, ad hoc project advice and support on making technical decisions.
- Representing the data team in various internal and external meetings to either present project work or provide analytical advice.
- Ensuring knowledge and experience is shared within the team and the wider business.

**Requirements**:
**Education**:

- A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a technology or engineering, as computer science, computer engineer or any other stem career.

Languages:

- Spanish - Mother tongue.
- English: C1 is a must.

Computer Skills:

- NA

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a data/digital as consultant role in any industry.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT, project management or a related field, with demonstrable work experience as a business system analysist.
- Solid understanding of the business
- Basic understanding of data modeling (conceptual, logical and physical)
- Basic understanding of DBMS used in organization
- Basic understanding of data and information concepts
- Excellent communications skills (written and oral)
- Objectivity, creativity, diplomacy, facilitation skills
- Ability and willingness to work as part of a team
- Ability to function independently
- Well-respected knowledge of the domain
- Well-respected knowledge of the overall organization
- Experience of management of data and analytics projects.
- Experience of working on projects that have involved the introduction of new ways of working / processes / methodologies into a business.
- Highly proficient in Project Management principles, methods, techniques and tools.
- Strong supplier & people management skills.
- Experience of working to introduce agile/SCRUM into organisations
- Good understanding of the implementation of project improvements.
- Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
- Experience working in a collaborative environment, including supporting and teaching other team members
- Experience in data modelling and database architectures.
- Experience with relational, no sql, cloud, real time, streaming, DataMart, datalikedatabases
- Demonstrable ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Technological leadership and IT vision on analytical platforms
