ABOUT THE POSITION

With over 430 retail stores worldwide, our associates are essential to our business. From ensuring product availability on the sales floor to creating eye-catching visual displays to addressing customer inquiries to running an efficient check out process, our associates create memorable customer experiences while simultaneously assisting the Store Leadership team support Columbia Sportswear Company’s mission of “Connecting Active People with Their Passions.”

As a Retail Associate you’ll serve as a brand ambassador and ensure exceptional in-store experiences through positive customer interaction. Within this role you will employ your natural problem solving and sales abilities to answer customer questions and make compelling product recommendations while supporting Columbia Sportswear Companies values to enhance customer service and teamwork.

Principales funciones/responsabilidades:

- Proporcionar a todos los clientes una atención óptima, asesorándoles sobre nuestros productos y ayudándoles en su experiência de compra, de acuerdo con las directrices “_5 steps_” de Columbia y la normativa interna de El Corte Inglés.
- Facilitar información a todos los clientes en relación con las características y ventajas de los productos actuales.
- Mantener conocimientos actualizados y exactos sobre las características, ventajas y disponibilidad de los productos.
- Asegurarse de que todos nuestros productos aparezcan expuestos de forma ordenada conforme a las normas de presentación de la empresa. Esto también requiere mantener los productos clasificados por tallas y bien colocados.
- Ayudar con las recepciones y entregas de productos desembalando, etiquetando y clasificando la mercancía por tallas, verificando los precios de venta al público y manteniendo el control del inventario.
- Realizar todas las transacciones con caja registradora requeridas, tales como ventas y cambios, con prontitud y con un alto nível de precisión, respetando la operativa de El Corte Inglés.
- Almacenar mercancía encargándose de la recepción de remesas semanales y de la distribución a la superficie de ventas.
- Mantener una estética ordenada y cuidada de las instalaciones del establecimiento limpiando, organizando y ordenando.
- Seguir las políticas y los procedimientos de Columbia así como las de El Corte Ingles.
- Mantener una conducta acorde con los elevados níveles de profesionalidad de la empresa demostrando respeto, cortesía y dedicación, además de cumplir con las obligaciones de asistencia y puntualidad, así como, el respeto a la normativa interna de El Corte Inglés.
- Mantener una comunicación abierta y positiva con todos los directivos y el personal de Columbia Sportswear, así como con otros departamentos, a fin de contribuir a un intercambio fluido de información y al funcionamiento eficiente de la organización.
