In this frame, as Sales Manager you contribute to the success of Intelligence (part of Connected Intelligence within Airbus Defense and Space) by promoting SALES of our innovative products and services. These products and services are largely based on optical and SAR satellite data. With recent growth and success and responding to the increasing demands of global markets, the principal position requires a responsible, autonomous, willing-to-travel and proven sales representative, who develops regional markets for Earth Observation products and services.

**Your tasks and responsibilities**
- EMEALA ( Europe, Middle East, Latin America and Africa)
- Territory of responsibility for business development will be LATIN AMERICA (LATAM)
- Full responsibility for the campaigns in your territory, from the inquiry to the successful conclusion of the contract (MG1-MG4)
- Good understanding and implementation of the bid campaign management process
- Creation and maintenance of Country Capture Plans
- Deep understanding of Earth Observation products and services (both, optical and SAR)
- Responsibility for Order Intake and Revenues in your territory
- Development and support of new business opportunities (e.g. HAPS - High Altitude Pseudo Satellite,... )
- Recognizing customer trends and proposing new technologies
- Preparation and presentation of a win strategy (portfolio & partnerships) for your area of responsibility
- Successful/skilled conducting of price negotiations
- Keeping all your campaigns within the company's CRM tool fully up-to-date
- Building strong sustainable networks in both the private and public sectors and fostering partnerships
- Frequent business trips are required

**Desired skills and qualifications**
- University degree in Earth Observation/Remote Sensing, Geosciences, Surveying or equivalent professional experience
- Proven sales experience in the field of Earth Observation (min 10 years)
- Very good knowledge of SAR and Optical Earth Observation products: from standard products (like satellite imagery) to higher value derived products including Digital Elevation Models, Ground Control Points, Mapping products, etc.
- Good knowledge of international competitive optical and SAR systems
- Good knowledge of the optical and SAR market on a global scale
- Good communication skills towards presenting a business development plan to your direct business colleagues (or colleagues from other Airbus divisions) as well as interacting with customers alike
- Fluent in English and Spanish (other languages are an advantage)
- Team player, focused, solution-oriented, good communicator
