**Predoctoral fellow**

Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is a public sector institution, located in Barcelona (Spain) that promotes and develops

innovative biomedical research at the University Hospital Vall d'Hebron. VHIR is oriented towards finding solutions to the health

problems of the citizens and has the will to contribute to the scientific, educational, social and economic development within its

area of competence around the world

clinicians and scientists being one of their main goals to bring the benefits of the scientific research undertaken to improve lung

transplant patients survival and to develop individualized immunosuppressive regimens to decrease toxicity and side-effects of

immunosuppressive therapy.

In this particular The Group of Research in Pneumology offers a contract to work on the project entitled: “Discovery and

validation of potential tolerance biomarkers in long term survivors after lung transplantation (TOLUNG study)”. The main aim of

the project is to identify a specific gene expression, cell populations and molecules (specific antibodies and tolerance markers)

relevant for the prediction of good lung transplantation outcomes.

**Education and qualifications**:

Master’s Degree course or equivalent necessary to study a doctorate.
- Having obtained an average grade of academic record equal to or higher than 6.5.

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required: -**

Not holding the title of doctor.

valuated.

**Labour conditions**:
- Full time position (40h / week).
- Gross annual salary: 16,000.00€
- Duration: 1 year.
