**What you’ll do**

The PTP Manager is part of the Global Accounting Delivery (GAD) Team within Volvo Cars, which is developing and delivering global efficient and harmonized processes in PTP, OTC and General Accounting and Reporting (GAR). The different teams in the Global Finance Delivery are responsible for reporting and analysing the actuals.

The processes for this are developed in close cooperation with the Business controllers in the functions as well as with the Group Finance function.

In this role you will be reporting to the Senior Manager PTP and be based in Madrid (metro Cuzco).

**Main responsibilities**
- Leading a team of Senior Accountants and Accountants with different levels of expertise
- To inspire/motivate and engage people around you to perform according to their potential.
- Make people grow by recognising their effort, building trust, and showing appreciation
- Actively drive global process development
- Deliver high quality service and advice globally
- Identify areas for improvement and implementation of ideas globally
- Coach and provide the organization with advice of complex and of global nature and of importance to the business.
- Ensure compliance with current global principles, standards, and frameworks
- Keep track of legislation, trends, latest news, and external benchmark to ensure that the processes are "best in class”
- Lead and monitor the implementation of improvements initiatives on a regional level, ensuring their alignment with the team targets
- Management support on identifying and defining areas for long term strategy, team structure and communication
- To be part and supervise the testing and go live of new entities/activities move to FO
- Monitor reporting/KPIs and ensure action plans are in place
- People development, support team members to reach targets (1-1 meetings)
- Support Senior Manager on identifying and defining areas for long term strategy and targets
- Part of the decision for new implementation projects
- Second line of escalation for activities and processes
- Recruitment and orientation.

**What you‘ll bring**

We are looking for a People Manager above anything else for this role and therefore are looking for someone with excellent leadership skills and 5+ years’ experience managing teams in a financial environment. Furthermore, it will be important to have a proactive approach with an ability to prioritize and to deliver on commitments with tight deadlines.
- University degree in Finance or equivalent
- Exposure to a SSC environment
- Experience delivering transformation of finance processes
- Ability to work and be comfortable in a dynamic environment under continuous development.
- High integrity and professionalism
- Experience in executing global processes locally and working effectively in a global team
- Fluent in English, verbally and written (C1)
- Very good cooperation and communication skills
- Very good analytical skills
