Guadalupe, España Adecco A tiempo completo

Develop an attractive research agenda in the field of photochemistry, such as photochemical CO2 reduction or photocatalytic water splitting.

Successfully collaborate with universities, research institutes and companies at national and international level.

Successfully mentor Master's and/or PhD students.

Write articles as first authors (e.g. 1 article per year) in high impact journals.

Participate in the development of research projects within the group.

Actively participate in group meetings, as well as prepare progress reports on the research lines in which he/she participates.

If you are interested in this new project you have to send the following documentation:
Application for admission to the position (attached to the call).

Copy of your identity document

Curriculum Vitae

Copy of the qualifications that give access to the post Bachelor's and Master's degree marks

To be assessed:
Demonstrated experience with operating and in-situ spectroscopic techniques to study photo(electro)catalytic reactions, e.g. XAS, XRD, XPS at near ambient pressure, Raman, FT-IR, etc.

Expertise in the analysis and quantification of gas and liquid outputs for photo(electro)catalytic reactions, e.g. GC, LC, mass spectrometry, NMR, UV-Vis, etc.

Experience with materials and related reactions for electrocatalysis and/or thermal catalysis.

Experience with techniques related to electrocatalysis, such as rotating disk electrode (RDE) measurements, potentiostatic/galvanostatic polarisation methods, electrochemical impedance sp Ability to test new electrocatalysts in cell configurations to calculate performance, degradation, mass transport and electrical resistance.

Experience in collaborative experimental work and simulations, e.g. atomistic and CFD simulations to characterise, design and optimise photoelectrocatalytic materials and systems.

Experience in membrane processing and electrochemistry is highly desirable.

Experience scaling up from lab to prototypes.

2+ years of postdoctoral experience.

Knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese
