Planner (Temp)

The purpose of the role

The Planner is responsible for create and maintaining production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company’s production capacity as well as managing inventory levels.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review and evaluate the MRP reports on a daily basis
- Create, maintain, and organize production Schedules
- Identify problems and provide support to solve them
- Communicate and adapt the schedules due to the changes of delivery dates
- Monitor and analyze the stock of Finished Product in order to minimize the Finished Stock exposure for LOI
- Administrative support in the generation of reports and documentation
- Support in the implementation of process improvements
- Participate in daily operational meeting
- Take actions and decisions to comply the OTIF
- Monitor, update and analyze the KPIs of the area
- Act as a back up of other supply chain areas, providing administration support on the day-to-day tasks of the function

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree in Engineering or Economics or equivalent experience in a planning, procurement or logistics role (minimum 3 years’ experience)
- Knowledge of the production process
- Knowledge and understanding of ERP systems. Previous experience in Microsoft Dynamics would be valuable
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Mathematical Skills
- Must be able to organize own work efficiently taken into account input/output from/to other functional areas
- Stay calm and professional under pressure
- Patient and listens to other people
- Acts professionally and with integrity in such a way that he/ she are respected & trusted by others
- Must be able to cooperate in a positive way with other people and other departments
- Must be able to identify problems and share those with the manger
