**ABOUT COMPANY**

Our client is an international company that operates in 19 countries, on 5 continents in different sectors. Operating in the building materials (cement, concrete, aggregate and plaster) It´s one of the largest companies in the sector.

**MISSION**

This position is responsible for coordinating and managing all activities related to **in/outbound materials**, using different methods of transportation such vessels, trains or trucks. Build logistics analysis (cost/margin oriented), deep dive in majors costs lines, create and follow-up action plan, implement process and work in partnership with all business units (Cement, Aggregates, Ready Mix Concrete, Mortar) in order to be a reference as logistic intelligence for them. Everything with a high level of energy withing the business, working as decision maker.

Scope of influence: North / Center Iberian Peninsule.

**MAIN RESPONSABILITIES**

Optimize the methods of distribution being national and international.

Follow up and coordinate the exports/imports of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products (cements, cementitious materials, clinkers, etc.).

Control and coordinate the implementation of the processes in the logistics area (inbound, outbound) and supervise the operations done in his/her scope of influence, working very closely with Commercial, Operations and Corporate departments.

Participate, advising to his superior and operations, during the process of strategic plan, budgeting of the logistics function and prepare, implement and support the decisions of logistic operations within all the business units.

Control & optimize the costs of logistics in his/her scope of influence.

Build internal and external relationships to gather information for better planning.

Optimize the fleet utilization and ensure the right fleet with the support of the traffic and responsible and the call center team.

Focus on customer service.

**REQUIREMENTS & EDUCATION**

University Degree and Master or Specialization in Logistic, supply chain.

Minimum 5 years of experience in cost control logistics: POST, ROAD, RAIL.

Experience in industry as Cement, construction, Pulp and Paper, Power, Siderurgic, minerals, Logistics operators, is a plus.

Spanish and High Level of English

Available to work from **Vigo**; capability to influence sales, industrial departments; able to coordinate dotted lines peers.
