General Summary:
At Qualcomm XR labs Europe we develop state-of-the-art computer vision, deep learning and graphics solutions to deliver ultra-optimised, power-efficient software and hardware to enable the intelligent perception of the world around us.

The position is for Spain, Madrid.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop services for the Cloud Perception Systems
- Develop data analysis components
- Integrate new R&D features
- Optimize system performance
- Implement unit, integration and system tests

**Critical “Must Have” skills/experience for role**
- 5+ years of experience in professional software engineering
- Good knowledge of Python
- Experience with building large-scale cloud services
- Experience with SQL DBs (one or more): MySQL / Postgres / Other SQL
- Experience with noSQL (one or more): Redis / Cassandra
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Strong algorithmic and software engineering skills
- Good communication and writing skills (English, level B2+)

**Preferred skills/experience for role**
- Experience developing with Typescript and Angular/React with state management
- Working knowledge of enterprise authentication systems
- Cloud platforms (one or more): AWS / Azure / OpenStack / GCP
- Understanding of CI/CD and experience creating and updating pipelines
- GRPC, Protobuf
- Docker

**Education**

Required: Engineering Degree, ideally in Computer Science, Computer Engineering

The company language is English. You will work together with an international engineering team, therefore communication skills and the ability to work in a team are key to success in this role.
