**ABOUT THE QA LEAD ROLE AND OUR TEAM**:
The Knot Worldwide is hiring a Lead engineer in test to join a highly motivated team. The right leader will enjoy fast-paced collaboration with our Enterprise team in an Agile environment to ensure the high quality of our CRM system.
This role will focus on leading the testing efforts and execution of our existing test team of the Enterprise CRM squad. The CRM squad supports systems that promote better processes and workflows for our sales and revenue teams to drive their ability to hit our company OKRs. You will report to the Sr. Manager of QA and have visibility into all testing done across the Enterprise team, but your knowledge is specific to our CRM systems.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage a team of Salesforce testers and fully immersed in the CRM team across various timezones. Point person for communication on "team" status.
- Responsible for day-to-day testing of sprint work as well as testing for large projects within the CRM test team.
- Lead would contribute to larger testing efforts coordinating across other Enterprise squads (financial systems and custom development teams).
- Ensure that features are high-quality by building test strategies, writing and executing test plans, and communicating with the team about issues, risks, and product quality.
- Over time, leverage skills and experience to develop automated tests
- You will also need to execute testing on your own as well as manage the quality of testing of those who report to you.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, spring planning, standups, and retros.
- Identify and execute opportunities to improve the QA process.
- Partner with Tech Leads and Sr. QA Manager to prioritize releases and determine quality metrics.

**SUCCESSFUL QA LEADS SHOULD HAVE**:

- Expert knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience 2+ years leading a test team, excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and can balance varying resources across multiple time zones.
- Previous experience handling the testing of a Sales and Service Cloud within Salesforce ideally with exposure to community cloud as well.
- Hands-on experience writing automated tests for user interfaces and experience writing automated tests for backend services such as Selenium.
- Keeps Manager informed of team progress and proactively shares updates and blockers, risks, or anticipated delays.
