**About your role**

The Group of Evaluation of Health Determinants and Health Policies of the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC Barcelona) is looking for a doctor research assistance to work on a funded project. The team works on a wide variety of research, including tobacco control, screen exposure’ health effects on pediatric population, or mental health and addictions.

**Key tasks**

The doctor research assistant is expected to work on a specific project regarding the special vulnerability of homelessness women in terms of mental health and addiction, with a public health perspective.

Duties will include:

- Recruitment and carry out questionnaires
- Data management and cleaning
- Statistical analysis (Spatial statistics, mixed effect models, survival analysis, etc.)
- Manuscript writing

**We offer**
- A 2 year full-time doctoral research assistant contract (exclusive dedication) in the Department of Basic Sciences at UIC Barcelona, starting from the date you are hired as a member of our research staff
- Gross annual amount: 28,000

**JOBS REQUIREMENTS**
- PhD, Master and Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Psychology, Biomedicine, Biology, or other related degrees with high programing and statistical content.
- Advanced knowledge in statistics.
- Programming skills in at least one statistical software (R, Python, Stata, etc.).
- Good writing and communication skills in English.
