Site GAS HRSG COE Inspector will be executing highly technical services on HRSG equipment and systems The successful execution of these global services will require that the Engineer adhere to internal processes while being open to challenges that may arise. Engineers are accountable for the quality our customers feel when purchasing our services. Site GAS HRSG COE Inspector will be responsible for providing advice and guidance on the operation, maintenance, efficiency, and reliability of steam generator equipment and systems. You may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Field service assignments involve adapting to varying conditions at customer facilities while operating within estimated resources and ensuring quality.
- Decisive actions involving complex technical matters to eliminate or minimize adverse impact, ensure quality and operate within budget.
- Strong communication skills, keeping management and other employees involved with work activitie
- Ability to work in a team, receiving and incorporating feedback from a variety of sources into customer support and reporting.
- Ability to adjust to revised priorities and unforeseen problems at customer facilities while meeting tight schedu
- Involves considerable travel and/or temporarily residing at customer site Expected to be on call and available. Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments.
- Attention to detail is critical as errors typically result in significant loss of time and rework, inefficient use of resources, and adversely affect customer relation
- Self-directed, independently develop work and opportunities to provide advice and guidance on the commissioning, operation, maintenance, efficiency, and reliability of fossil fired steam generator equipment and systems.
- Time management skills are necessary to prioritize multiple tasks and balance administrative requirements with customer support.
- Must have strong technical writing skills with the ability to describe complex issues concisely, developing recommendations for customers based on findings and guidance from company resources.
- Resilience to work in a demanding role with extensive travel and an uncertain schedule.
- Self-Starter, motivated and willing to take on challenging assignments in industrial environments possibly in remote areas or international locations.
- Act as the Company's representative in resolving and reporting on complex technical and logistics problems while maintaining good customer relations and protecting the interest of FieldCore.
- Organize and lead a team of Service Engineers on high level projects (commissioning, major capital projects) and act as the primary customer contact for various work assignments involving critical activities to both FieldCore and the customers
- Established as a specialist in multiple pieces of equipment, able to mentor others and train them in these areas of expertise.
- Solid working knowledge of GE OEM HRSG Units and OOEM too
- Technical familiarity with other Plant equipment including turbines, generators
- Possesses expertise and experience that establishes premium value to customers and utilizes this capability to secure work, resulting in consistently achieving FieldCore’ s goals and objective
- Ensures Technical Services team meets customers’ expectations and maintains positive reputation as a reliable industry resource.
- Works with customer account teams to assist in developing customer management strategies, meeting financial objectives. Contribute to commercial success and assist in Alstom business growth.
- Organize and deliver external customer training on OEM equipment.
- Travel may be required
- Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments
- English proficiency required

**Required Qualifications & Experience**:

- HRSG TIER 2 Inspector certificate
- Team working willingness and capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
- Successful completion of required training programs is a minimum requirement.
- Demonstrated progressive, responsible experience with various types of steam generator equipment and systems and site accountabilities is required.

**Desired Characteristics**:

- Proficient in the use of computers and PC software.
- Excellent customer, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Expert level. Able to act as a senior company rep on any outage for the unit qualified. Acts as project manager and mentor on complex projects
- Fluent in English language
