**Job Description**:
AECOM Spain **MEP team **is a highly qualified group of professionals experts in offering the best solutions to international client’s needs all around the world.

Our building services engineers are at the forefront of their discipline for the design of the mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) systems required for the safe, comfortable and environmentally friendly operation of buildings. We embrace world class methodologies and technologies, including information rich Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), to facilitate more efficient ways of working and design at all stages of the project life-cycle.

Our team, as part of the continued growth of our business, is looking for an **experienced Electrical Engineer** to support the plan, and who has is looking to further develop their experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects. These projects span a diverse range of construction sectors including among others, Industrial, Healthcare, Education, Leisure, Aviation, Commercial and Defense.

Working within a dynamic, highly motivated and driven team, you will be part of our project delivery, mentor our junior staff and develop our future engineers. As a **Senior Electrical Engineer**, you will contribute to the winning, management and delivery of moderate to large scale projects.

In the role, you will be expected to:

- Complete Electrical power and lighting designs for projects of all sizes.
- Makes major design recommendations and design decisions with input from senior staff.
- Plans design work, calculates costs, and time schedules to assign design duties to junior staff working on projects.
- Coordinates design and schedule with other disciplines such as architectural, structural, mechanical, technology, clerical, and equipment suppliers.
- Maintains accurate project documentation and design data for permanent project files.
- Acts as an adviser and reviews correspondence prepared by junior project team members.
- Evaluates project staffing requirements, analyzes problems, and writes reports.
- Attends project meetings, or when appropriate, delegates activities.
- Meets with clients, prepares proposals and presentations while maintaining good client relations.
- Identifies prospective clients, assists in marketing to develop new clients, and develops future projects with existing clients.
- Assists in project checking for quality control on other projects.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of technical plans and drawings.
- Ability to switch between work on multiple/different projects daily.
- Represents the organization and maintains liaison with individuals and related organizations.
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic and take pride in your work.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering or industrial engineering with Electrical Emphasis Engineering from an accredited program.
- At least, 10 years of experience in a similar role or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Team management/coordination experience.
- Good knowledge in international regulations and standards (NFPA, BS, IEC, etc).
- Proficiency in engineering calculation software for electrical discipline (CANECO, ETAP, etc).
- Fluent in English and Spanish (oral and written).
