**Product Owner**:

**Overview**:
**Healios** is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented **Product Owner** to join our Product team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Product Manager, Designers and cross-functional teams to define and prioritize the features and capabilities of our innovative healthcare and medical devices.

Your expertise will be invaluable as you collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure that our solutions meet the needs of patients and doctors alike, and delivers on the product vision and roadmap.

**Position duties and obligations (responsibilities and requirements)**:

- Following an iterative design and development process, drive the execution, delivery, and outcome of the product throughout the entire product lifecycle.
- Follow Healios Software Development Life Cycle process.
- Follow Healios product processes for requirements and design.
- Generate and manage the list of work to be completed by the development team. This involves writing product backlog items along with acceptance criteria and ordering them to achieve the product vision.
- Promote and participate in the different artefacts and ceremonies that the Scrum Alliance suggests, such as daily meetings, sprint plannings, refinement meetings, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with the Product Lead and Business Analysts in the definition, analysis and review of new requirements, change requests and bugs reported.
- Validating acceptance criteria and requirements as part of the Pull Request processes.
- During planning activities, work with stakeholders to determine the content and steps required to deliver the next iteration at a sprint, release or product level.
- Within refinement sessions, work with the development team to define, elaborate, and estimate product backlog items.
- Facilitate reviews to ensure the product increment is examined in an optimum way to elicit feedback and determine the route forward for development.
- During retrospectives, collaborate as part of the team in determining and selecting improvement actions.
- During the sprint, work in the team, including answering questions and accepting product backlog items as they are completed.
- Attend daily gatherings to coordinate and collaborate with the development team on development work being performed within the iteration.
- Create and maintain communications regarding progress, including sprint plans and sprint objectives.
- Take lead on live issue resolution for systems in operation.
- Work with internal stakeholders to build a product experience that meets the needs of target users, i.e. healthcare professionals and patients.
- Ensure that a quality product has been produced by the Delivery Team before recommending a release.
- Generating CAB (Change Advisory Board) with the release log.
- Managing new builds for mobile apps, including setup and upload to the App/Google Play stores.

**Necessary Competence (education/qualification)**:

- 5+ years’ experience with mobile app product management and/or requirements development.
- Proven ability to work in a cross-functional team with designers, developers, integrators and business teams.
- Experience capturing and managing software requirements as Use Cases.
- Experience facilitating backlog refinement sessions.
- Experience testing or verifying software meets acceptance criteria.
- The desire to be part of, and contribute to, a team.
- Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously.

**Needed skills or mandatory training**:

- Strong relationship-building skills including the ability to relate constructively to all levels of an organization.
- Strong listening, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical addressees.
- Ambition and the ability to be self-directed.
- Experience using Atlassian suite of collaboration tools.
- Experience working with a product/feature roadmap.
- Experience creating release notes, user documentation, and/or training materials.
- Experience writing a requirements specification or statement of work.
- Awareness of mobile device capabilities and constructs (GPS, haptics, gestures, etc.) and the ability to recognize how they might help meet a need.
- Awareness of technology mediums (JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, iOS and Android SDKs).
- Awareness of user interface design guidelines (Apple HIG and Google Material Design).
